Volunteering is fun!

To run the Irvington CSA, shareholders take part in making it work. Every shareholder is expected to volunteer at least twice during the season, but everyone is welcome to do more!

Shift time: Volunteer shifts are from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

• Leaders
  • One each week
  • Oversee distribution of each week’s share
  • Collect money for special orders’
  • Help other volunteers
• Workers
  • Two each week
  • Set up the tables
  • Unload bins of produce from the truck
  • Set out produce with labels
  • Help distribute shares to fellow shareholders
  • Help distribute special orders
  • Trade out empty bins for full ones
  • Put the tables away at the end
